    CBBCSTORY

    Truly
    Local

    With a Proud Heritage

Our roots trace back to one man’s vision: in 1928, Victor Pinedo Sr., locally known as ‘Shon Vic’, embarked on a mission to hydrate the people of Curaçao. He built a fleet of donkey-drawn barrel carts to provide everyone with daily access to clean drinking water. Supported by his wife and a small team of dedicated colleagues, he continued to expand and improve, ultimately reaching a significant milestone by securing the franchise of the American Coca-Cola Company and establishing the Curaçao Beverage Bottling Company. This marked the beginning of a journey that would transform our company into a cherished household name for generations to come.

Shon Vic’s enthusiasm and commitment was truly contagious; the company is still owned and operated by the Pinedo family. However, the company’s growth and success would not have been possible without our Secret Ingredient!

    CBBCSTORY

    A LEGACY OF EXCELLENCE

We started as a water supply company and grew into a beverage production and bottling company focused exclusively on one iconic brand: Coca-Cola. Before long, we broadened our horizons and expanded our portfolio, not only producing and distributing locally but also importing other beverages from abroad and exporting our beloved brands to the island of Bonaire.

Despite our growth, our primary identity remains that of a local producer. We adhere to the highest production standards set by The Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta, while using locally sourced fresh water, renowned worldwide for its exceptional quality.

In 1970, an innovative chapter was written when Miles Pinedo introduced the cherished local heritage brand Fria. Over time, the Fria brand expanded to include of six flavors. Today, this local source of pride has become a part of the Coca-Cola brand portfolio, a development that continues to fill us with immense pride.
