    To strengthen our Maintenance Department, we are looking for an Maintenance Technician who enjoys solving technical challenges and wants to contribute to the reliability of our production facilities.

    The role

    As an All Around Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for maintaining the reliability and availability of our production equipment, technical installations and company facilities.

    You perform preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance on our production lines, utilities and building infrastructure. You play an important role in minimizing downtime, improving equipment performance and ensuring a safe working environment.

    You will work closely with Production, Engineering and fellow Maintenance Technicians while reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor.

    Your responsibilities

    Production equipment maintenance

    • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery.
    • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and pneumatic failures.
    • Support maintenance of the new automated production line.
    • Perform inspections and identify wear before failures occur.
    • Assist during machine installations and commissioning.

     Utilities & building maintenance

    • Maintain utilities including compressors, pumps, air systems and other technical installations.
    • Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on company buildings and facilities.
    • Carry out general facility maintenance when required.
    • Coordinate with external contractors when necessary.

     Continuous improvement

    • Identify technical improvement opportunities.
    • Participate in TPM and continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Help improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
    • Recommend modifications that reduce downtime.

     Safety, quality & compliance

    • Follow company safety procedures and food safety requirements.
    • Ensure maintenance work complies with company standards.
    • Report unsafe situations and technical risks.
    • Maintain accurate maintenance documentation.

    You have:

    • MBO/MTS Level 3/4 in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
    • At least 3 years of maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
    • Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance.
    • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
    • Experience with PLC-controlled equipment is an advantage.
    • Experience in the food & beverage industry is an advantage.
    • Good command of English; Papiamentu and/or Spanish is an advantage.
    • Willingness to work shifts and respond to emergency breakdowns when required.
