Are you a people-focused sales leader who enjoys being close to the market, customers, and team? Do you know how to balance execution, relationships, and commercial results? Then we would love to meet you!

    The Role

As Sales Supervisor Traditional Trade, you lead and coordinate sales operations within the Traditional Trade channel, including minimarkets, toko’s, and small independent retailers. You ensure optimal order fulfillment, product availability, stock rotation, and promotional execution at the point of sale.

You work closely with presellers and merchandisers, translate commercial plans into daily execution, and actively analyse sales performance to drive sustainable growth and service excellence, in line with company standards and our Integrated Management System.

    ▪ Coordinate daily sales execution and pre-selling activities within the Traditional Trade channel.

    ▪ Ensure optimal product availability, correct stock levels, and proper stock rotation at the point of sale.

    Promotions and Market Execution

    ▪ Implement and monitor brand promotions and in-store merchandising in line with company guidelines.

    ▪ Ensure strong brand visibility and effective execution at the point of sale.

    Customer Relationship Management

    ▪ Build and maintain strong relationships with traditional trade customers.

    ▪ Act as the first point of contact for customer needs, inquiries, and escalations.

    Team Leadership and Route Coordination

    ▪ Supervise, coach, and develop presellers and helpers.

    ▪ Coordinate routes, itineraries, and daily activities to maximize productivity and coverage.

    Sales Monitoring and Improvement

    ▪ Analyse sales results, route performance, and market trends.

    ▪ Translate insights into practical actions to improve sales performance.

    Process and Compliance

    ▪ Ensure compliance with sales processes, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and the Integrated Management System (IMS).

    Who Are You?

You are a driven sales professional with excellent problem-solving skills, who combines people leadership with commercial awareness and strong execution skills.

    You are:

    ▪ A motivating and approachable leader.

    ▪ Customer-oriented and service-driven.

    ▪ Commercially aware, with a focus on improving sales results and market presence.

    ▪ Proactive, organized, and solution-oriented.

    ▪ Strong in communication, coaching, and problem-solving.

    What You Have

    ▪ A completed MBO Level 4 education.

    ▪ At least 3 years of experience in sales of fast-moving consumer goods (such as beverages, food, or other high-turnover consumer products), preferably within the traditional trade channel.

    ▪ Experience supervising or coordinating sales teams.

    ▪ A sound commercial mindset with the ability to balance targets, relationships, and execution quality.

    ▪ Strong analytical skills and experience using sales data.

    ▪ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales systems (e.g. Axxon).

    ▪ Good communication skills in Papiamentu and English; Dutch and Spanish are an advantage.

    ▪ Knowledge of quality, safety, and food safety standards is a plus.
