    To strengthen our Garage Department, we are looking for a Technician Fleet & Equipment. Are you a hands-on technician who enjoys working on trucks and equipment, solving technical issues and keeping operations running? Then this is your opportunity.

     

    The role

    As a Technician Fleet & Equipment, you ensure that our fleet and operational equipment remain in top condition. You perform maintenance, resolve technical issues and ensure that all equipment is safe and reliable for daily operations. Your work has a direct impact on our logistics operation, when you perform, the business keeps moving.

    You will work closely with the Garage Manager and operational teams.

     

    Your responsibilities

    Maintenance and repair
    ▪ Perform scheduled (preventive) maintenance
    ▪ Repair trucks, forklifts and other equipment
    ▪ Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical issues
    ▪ Identify wear and technical problems in a timely manner

     Troubleshooting and improvement
    ▪ Analyze recurring technical issues
    ▪ Contribute to structural solutions and improvements
    ▪ Help ensure a reliable and efficient fleet

     Inspections
    ▪ Perform checks and safety inspections
    ▪ Prepare vehicles and equipment for inspections
    ▪ Ensure compliance with requirements and standards

     Administration
    ▪ Record maintenance work accurately
    ▪ Maintain work orders and parts records
    ▪ Report deviations in maintenance planning

     Safety and working standards
    ▪ Work according to safety regulations and procedures
    ▪ Use PPE correctly
    ▪ Handle materials and waste responsibly

    What you have:

    • MBO/MTS Level 3 or 4 (or equivalent), preferably in Automotive Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with Electrical Engineering.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance of vehicles or technical equipment.
    • Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.
    • Experience with maintenance and troubleshooting.
    • Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
    • Basic knowledge of maintenance systems is a plus.
    • Familiarity with safety procedures and working instructions.
    • Good command of Papiamentu, Englisch and/or Spanish is a plus.
