At CBBC, we wholeheartedly embrace the wisdom of this proverb, as we have carefully developed an extensive and strong network of local and global partners over the years. In collaboration with these partners, along with our valued customers, we continuously strive to generate added value for our communities. This commitment extends to our dedication to sustainability. Our commitment is clear: by 2030, we want to ensure that the number of bottles and cans we sell are recycled equivalently, effectively preventing them from entering the environment and ensuring that the packaging is reused. This ambitious goal is a testament to our dedication to a cleaner and more sustainable future.
Recycling Centers
In collaboration with recycling companies, we have established several recycling centers across Curaçao. Our first Coca-Cola Recycling Center opened in 2014 at Mangusa Hypermarket, followed by additional two facilities at Sambil Shopping Center and Esperamos Supermarket. Driven by our commitment to a sustainable future, we continue to expand, with plans to open more centers in various locations around the island. Our mission is to simplify the recycling process, enabling individuals to recycle not only plastic beverage bottles, shampoo containers, and detergent containers, but also aluminum cans.

Recycling bins
For smaller locations, CBBC has provided recycling bins strategically placed near the general waste bins, ensuring easy access for everyone. These bins serve as convenient collection points where consumers can easily dispose of their empty bottles and cans. Our recycling bins are located throughout Curacao, including the Renaissance Mall, the Sambil food court, several hotels, high schools, the CMC hospital, and more. This approach ensures that recycling is both quickly and easily accessible to everyone.
At the end of 2023, we strengthened our partnership with recycling company GreenForce. Due to the significant decline in global market prices for recycled plastic waste in recent years, CBBC now financially supports GreenForce in exporting full containers of recycled waste abroad, to where it can be used to make new bottles and cans.
